SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE & APPLICATIONS

Technology & Solutions

ATAP approaches atmospheric water generation as an integrated infrastructure system—combining advanced thermodynamics, fail-safe host protection, and proven industrial applications.

THERMODYNAMIC ADVANTAGE
Liquid Desiccant Harvesting

Unlike conventional refrigerant dehumidifiers that freeze or fail below 40% RH, ATAP's hygroscopic liquid-desiccant core operates efficiently across an exceptionally broad humidity spectrum.

Specific energy consumption: Pending validation under documented operating conditions.
SECTION 01

Our Technology Platforms

We engineer two distinct hardware platforms: the standalone ATAP Gen-2 unit for decentralized deployment, and Project Atlantis for industrial thermal co-generation. Specifications are maintained distinctly.

PLATFORM 01 • STANDALONE DECENTRALIZED SKID-MOUNTED

ATAP Gen-2 Atmospheric Water Generator

The ATAP Gen-2 is a fully autonomous, skid-mounted atmospheric water generator engineered for point-of-need operations where municipal pipelines do not exist or municipal supply is compromised. Utilizes high-surface-area liquid desiccant contactors to harvest pure atmospheric moisture across extreme climate profiles.

NOMINAL CAPACITY 1,000 Gallons / Day (3,785 L/day)
OPERATING HUMIDITY RANGE Operating Humidity Range: To Be Validated
POWER DEMAND 27 kW continuous rated load
PURITY COMPLIANCE Water Quality Testing and Applicable Standards: To Be Confirmed
REGULATORY CODE SAM.gov Registered • CAGE: 9VK82
PLATFORM 02 • THERMAL INTEGRATION FLAGSHIP CO-GEN

Project Atlantis™ Platform

Project Atlantis is an industrial-scale thermal co-generation platform engineered to integrate directly with data center cooling loops and industrial waste heat stacks. Designed to integrate thermal recovery with auxiliary electrical loads that depend on the final system configuration.

THERMAL SOURCE COMPATIBILITY 55°C-80°C Liquid / Exhaust Gas
SCALED DAILY OUTPUT Illustrative Modular Capacity: Subject to Engineering Validation
HOST PROTECTION SYSTEM Mechanically Biased Bypass Architecture
FLUID CIRCUIT SECURITY Double-Wall Heat-Transfer Isolation: Specification and Certification To Be Confirmed
COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS) / Off-Take
SECTION 02

Engineering & Systems Safety

Derived from mission-critical aerospace systems safety and process engineering where downtime is intolerable. Reliability is engineered into the architecture before it is demonstrated.

Physically Isolated Fluid Circuits

The proposed controls architecture may incorporate temperature, pressure, and flow monitoring, fault detection, and supervisory diagnostics. Final instrumentation, redundancy, and control logic will be defined and verified during detailed engineering.

Fail-Safe Cooling Priority

The system is designed around a mechanically biased bypass intended to prioritize host-system cooling during defined fault conditions. Response time, bypass behavior, and pressure-drop performance must be established through documented engineering analysis and testing.

Safety-Led Controls & SCADA

Edge PLC automation with 2-out-of-3 voting logic. Redundant 2-out-of-3 voting logic prevents false actuations while satellite and cellular SCADA provides continuous predictive maintenance diagnostics.

SECTION 03

Industry Applications

Tailored deployment architectures addressing acute operational friction across four high-value commercial and government domains.

SECTOR 01 • HYPERSCALE DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Data Centers & AI Infrastructure

The Operational Problem: Modern GPU compute clusters generate unprecedented heat. Evaporative cooling towers consume millions of gallons of municipal water daily, triggering moratoria, community opposition, and rigid WUE mandates.

ATAP Solution: The Atlantis Co-Gen architecture captures 55°C–80°C server exhaust heat via double-wall plate heat exchangers to regenerate liquid desiccant, creating on-site high-purity water to feed cooling loops without grid withdrawal.

DEPLOYMENT CONTEXT: Arid hyperscale server campuses, edge colocation facilities with water caps, and enterprise hosting seeking closed-loop sustainability.
SECTOR 02 • MANUFACTURING & REFINING

Industrial Facilities

The Operational Problem: Heavy manufacturing, chemical processing, power plants, and mining sites exhaust substantial low-grade thermal energy while paying escalating municipal tariffs for boiler feedwater.

ATAP Solution: Co-locating skid-mounted AWG modules adjacent to boiler stacks, diesel gen-sets, or compressor exhausts, converting waste heat into high-purity process water.

DEPLOYMENT CONTEXT: Chemical plants, semiconductor fabrication cleanrooms, pulp & paper mills, and remote mineral extraction camps.
SECTOR 03 • EXPEDITIONARY LOGISTICS

Defense & Remote Operations

The Operational Problem: Forward operating locations require continuous water resupply. Water convoys constitute over 50% of logistical transport tonnage in expeditionary theaters, consuming escort resources and exposing personnel to ambush.

ATAP Solution: Ruggedized, air-droppable ISO containerized Gen-2 AWG modules engineered to military standards (TB MED 577 potability, CAGE 9VK82, SAM.gov registered) for point-of-need independence.

DEPLOYMENT CONTEXT: Forward operating bases (FOBs), remote radar/telecom garrisons, border security outposts, and naval shore stations.
SECTOR 04 • CIVIC INFRASTRUCTURE

Decentralized Utilities & Water-Constrained Locations

The Operational Problem: Regional municipal water authorities face strict groundwater extraction caps, saltwater intrusion, multi-year permitting delays, and deferred pipeline maintenance backlogs.

ATAP Solution: Decentralized supplemental water arrays directly tied into district distribution points or public reservoirs, powered by municipal solar or waste-to-energy facilities without ground disturbance.

DEPLOYMENT CONTEXT: Civic campuses, water-stressed school districts, municipal maintenance depots, and remote public facilities with compromised wells.
SECTION 04 • PLANNING TOOL

ATAP Gen-2 Nominal Capacity Calculator

Estimate nominal daily and annual water generation volumes, electrical operating demands, and gross water value based on deployed Gen-2 module quantities and operating schedules.

RATED BASELINE PROFILE: The calculator uses an illustrative baseline of 1,000 gallons per 24-hour day and a 27 kW electrical load per unit at 30°C and 80% relative humidity. These inputs are planning assumptions and should not be interpreted as independently verified operating performance.
